Jagdalpur: One CRPF constable has been killed by unknown persons at village Asna, situated at the outskirts of Jagdalpur. The unknown killer has cut the head of the cop and has escaped away from spot, taking the head of the deceased cop, hundreds of policemen have been engaged in searching the head taken away by the killer.

According to police, said illfated cop Kanhaiyya Yadav started from Varanasi on 13^th August, reached Raipur on 14^th and reported there at Raipur unit at 10:00 AM. Then he was supposed to report at 80^th battalion Jagdalpur, which he could not have done.

Jagdalpur: Over 200 prisoners of Dantewada Jail and more than 350 civilians from different parts of Bastar commissionarate region are suffering from various seasonal diseases these days, over and above all more than 85 tribals including five school going children have died of these diseases. There are no regular medical assistance facilities available either at Dantewada Jail. There are a number of villages where these diseases like diahorrea, gastro, dysenteries, malaria or skin-infections have attacked during current rainy seasons.

Ahmedabad: Amit Shah, former Gujarat Minister of State for Home has been arrested by the CBI in Shrabuddin Sheikh Fake encounter case. A Y Dave, the CBI Judge has remanded him in 13 days judicial custody and will spend the next two weeks in Sabarmati Jail, but allowed to appeal for bail.

Amit Shah, who has been charged with murder by the CBI, arrived at their office in Gandhinagar this afternoon at about 2:00 pm, to answer to the summons sent to him. He was missing since Thursday and had not appeared when summoned repeatedly by the CBI for questioning. He had sent in his resignation letter to Chief Minister Narendra Modi, yesterday. The letter has been forwarded to the state Governor. Earlier in the day, Shah made a dramatic entry at a Press conference being held by the state BJP unit to declare that he is innocent, and that he will go straight to the CBI headquarters for questioning. Shah clearly and with a calm mind said that all the charges against him were fabricated and politically motivated and he would expose the people framing him against this incident.
